POT LAW BUSTED

Paul Coulbeck

Prohibition of the herb cannabis sativa/indica has been allowed to fade away into the oblivion of old, cruel, bad laws, just like the abortion law, without the government having to do anything.

Because of the Terry Parker Decision the cannabis or marijuana portion of the Controlled Substances Act has been struck down as unconstitutional. This voiding of the marijuana laws was basically finalized sixty days after the Parker Decision was handed down on July 31, 2000 at 9:30 a.m. when the Crown decided not to appeal the decision by the October, 2000 deadline for appeal.

This all leaves the government no real grounds for bringing forth another cannabis prohibition. Therefore there is no law respecting cannabis sativa, cannabis indica, marijuana, marijuana hemp.

Since the "Drug War" on cannabis is over it is time to set the captives of this wrong-headed law free! Compensation packages for time served and property loss and pain and suffering should be granted on an individual basis.

Now that the prohibition is over we can begin to work on building a new industrial era. This time it will be environmentally friendly and enhance life on this planet. We are free to create a truly ecologically sustainable economy.

What is the fastest way for us little guys to get involved in this new business sector? Not dealing or any of that crap, investing in the new business paradigm itself. Like investing in IBM on startup of McDonalds or Standard Oil at the beginning, this opportunity is an open door to success for everyone. We can pool our money together and really make things happen.

How can this be done legally on the up-and-up with everyone able to keep track of the open books?

Hemp cannabis investment clubs can raise funds, investigate opportunities and make investments in hemp cannabis businesses taking an equity position and repayment of investment monies. These clubs run by their membership can if they choose even create businesses and either run them or sell them. The club can look at all kinds of existing hemp businesses; some have enormous potential. Some examples of hemp businesses to be investigated are:
